Moscow International Salon of Innovations and Investments is the biggest in Russia and unique scientific and technical forum of inventors, creators and manufacturers of highly technological production, investment projects in the scientific and technological sphere and industry. The salon is being conducted for the purpose of promoting the innovation activity development, Russian industry technical re-equipment, development of intellectual property objects market, patent and licensing activity improvement, pooling of interests of highly technological production inventors, creators and manufacturers and those of representatives of industrial and financial business in the Russian Federation, neighboring and non-CIS countries.

On the 3 of March 2008 Andrey Fursenko (Minister of education and science of the Russian Federation), and Sergey Mazurenko (head of federal agency for science and innovation) visited collective exposition.
During more than 1000experts and specialists attended the collective exposition.
There were signed some agreements of collaboration during the VIII Salon in the field of Energy and Energy Efficiency and Environmental management.
VIII Moscow International Salon of Innovations and Investments is the biggest in Russia and unique scientific and technical forum of inventors, creators and manufacturers of highly technological production, investment projects in the scientific and technological sphere and industry.
Business section of Salon included business meetings and negotiations, presentation of Russian R&D developers in innovative-technological directions. Conferences, round tables and scientific and practical seminars.
On the 5 of March 2008, NP “INCOT” organized 2 workshops: “Energy and energy efficiency: present and future” and “Environmental management”. In workshops took part more than 70 specialists in energy, environmental management, innovative cooperation. They made more than 20 presentations about actual problems in energy and environmental management.
