Organizers:

  • The Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation
  • Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences
  • All-Russian Exhibition Center

At support and participation:

  • The ministry of industry and power of the Russian Federation
  • Federal forestry agency ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation
  • The Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation
  • Federal agency for science and innovations
  • National Bioenergy Association
  • Scientific Centre “Agroecoprognos”

Goals:

  • To demonstrate last achievements in the field of alternative energy
  • Rendering assistance in search of partners for development of alternative enrgy in Russia.
  • Demonstration of achievements of the research organizations, the industrial enterprises and organizations, firms in innovative development.

More than 100 companies from Russia and 9 other countries participated in exhibition. The exposition presented actual directions in modern development of alternative energy—alternative motor fuel, biogas, fuel granules and briquettes, the equipment on a biological waste, small-scale energy, innovation technologies of the growing, storage and transportation of raw materials for the future biofuels production, conditions for financing and crediting projects.

More than 3000 experts of alternative energy visited the exhibition.

In a frame of the exhibition “Alternative energy” the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and Federal agency for science and innovations organised a specialized exposition “Hydrogen and alternative technologies for production”. Organization and informational support was provided by Noncommercial partnership “International information training and Consulting center of Energy Efficiency”(NP “INCOT”).

Exhibition themes:

  1. Alternative motor fuel
  2. Biogas
  3. Solid biofuel
  4. Innovation technologies of the growing, storage and transportation of raw materials for the future biofuels production
  5. Development programs of alternative power for Russian regions
  6. Projects for investors. Possibilities of financing projects. Leasing, insurance, audit.
  7. Certification of production and quality management systems

Also were organized a forum “Alternative power—2008”, conferences and seminars.

On April, 25th, 2008 the International seminar “Alternative motor fuel” has been held.

The purpose of the seminar was to discuss the possibilities of hydrogen usage and alternative motor fuel in Russia, creations and financings of projects on using innovative “know-how” of motor fuel, and also acquaintance to the newest technologies and the standard-legislative base regulating manufacturing of alternative energy.

Within the limits of the seminar 9 presentational performances have been made.

In seminar work took part more than 50 experts in the field of alternative fuel.

Few specialized expositions will be presented in the frame of the exhibition:

Specialized exposition “Alternative motor fuels”

  • Biodiesel
  • Bioethanol
  • ETBE
  • Biobutanol
  • Hydrogen
  • Gas

Specialized exposition “Waste-to-energy recycling”

  • Biogas
  • Solid fuel from waste

Specialized exposition “Small-scale energy power”

  • Solar energy
  • Wind energy
  • Small scale hydro-energy
